Visiting Andrea in Houston, TX

During the second week in June on the way back from a business trip in San Antonio, I stopped by Houston, TX to see my not-so-baby-anymore sister. :-) Andrea is in an eight-week program at Rice University, during the better part of this summer, between her junior and senior years at Cornell University.

We had a delicious dinner at Prego Italian Restaurant, only a short walk away from the graduate housing complex at which Andrea is staying. It's a great place with an extensive menu and wine list yet relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. It was great to see Andrea again after so many months and spend a pleasant evening, chatting over delicious food and a great bottle of wine.

I was off very and I do mean very early the following morning on a 7:30am flight back to Seattle.
